Aims & Scope
The Open Drug Metabolism
Journal is an Open Access online journal, which
publishes Research articles in all areas of drug metabolism
interaction and disposition, covering the following fields:
In vitro systems including CYP-450; enzyme induction and inhibition;
drug-drug interactions and enzyme kinetics; pharmacokinetics,
toxicokinetics, species scaling and extrapolations; P-glycoprotein
and transport carriers; target organ toxicity and interindividual
variability; drug metabolism and disposition studies; extrahepatic
metabolism; phase I and phase II metabolism; recent developments
for the identification of drug metabolites, reactive intermediate
and glutathione conjugates; genetic, nutritional, or hormonal
factors; toxicologic consequences of xenobiotic metabolism;
metabolite identification; mechanisms underlying drug disposition
and response; established, new, and potential drugs; environmentally
toxic chemicals; absorption; metabolism and excretion; enzymology
of all living species; microdialysis and extra hepatic metabolism;
Nutrient-drug interaction; and Risk assessment of novel foods.
The Open Drug Metabolism Journal,
a peer-reviewed journal, aims to provide the most complete
and reliable source of information on current developments
in field. The emphasis will be on publishing quality papers
rapidly and freely available to researchers worldwide.
